Looking After Eve
Clinical Supervision & Counselling with Kay Cerski MBACP

Clinical Supervision

I am a fully trained and qualified supervisor and have a postgraduate certificate in counselling supervision.

I work to the BACP ethical framework to ensure best practice.

I offer integrative counselling supervision for qualified and trainee counsellors. I enjoy working in a professional, collaborative, supportive and friendly way, encouraging you in your counselling work and training.

I believe the supervision relationship is integral to the work, and I bring 8 years experience as a counsellor, trainer, tutor and therapist to the work.

My intention is to help you explore your client work, along with any concerns, thoughts and feelings that you may experience, in a safe and non judgemental space. Problems with ethical dilemma’s and limits of proficiency, professional boundaries can be addressed.

I believe supervision is a place for self reflection and professional and personal growth, contributing to enhanced working knowledge and skills and safe and ethical practice. An awareness of the importance of self care is encouraged. Also, and importantly, this is your supervision and so we will work with anything that would be useful for you.

I am involved with the charities Don’t Lose Hope based in Bourne, and Little Miracles in Peterborough providing supervision for the trainee counsellors on their placement, qualified counsellors and the clinical lead.   My experience as counselling tutor provides me with an understanding of the particular supervision needs of a trainee counsellor. I am happy to discuss any particular areas of development that you may want to incorporate in the supervision session.

Rate:
