Looking After Eve
Clinical Supervision & Counselling with Kay Cerski MBACP

About

I started counselling as a volunteer counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care 14 years ago and I went on to become an accredited bereavement counsellor.

During this time I attended further training on various aspects of loss and bereavement including: A Child’s Grief, Sudden and Traumatic Death, Death in Service and Anticipatory Grief. After further study and training I successfully completed my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision along with additional more specialised counselling training.

Additionally I have experience of tutoring at City College Peterborough, teaching the CPCAB Counselling Studies Level 3 and Counselling Skills Level 2 courses for 6 years.

I am also involved with the charities Don’t Lose Hope in Bourne, Little Miracles in Peterborough where I provide counselling supervision for qualified and trainee counsellors and the clinical lead.

My primary interest is in helping people regain a sense of enjoyment, happiness, control, understanding and purpose in their lives.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. (BACP) I am committed to working safely and ethically.  I have counselling supervision every month to ensure that I am working to best practice. I also attend regular CPD training, and I am up to date with all current legislation and data protection requirements.

My private practice is situated in Bourne, Lincolnshire.  South Lincolnshire including Stamford, Spalding, Boston, Market Deeping and Peterborough and the surrounding areas are within easy reach.
